Casa, Maroubra’s newest Brazilian home, proudly presents the vibrant rhythms of Brazilian choro brought to you by the talented musicians of Teleboteco and Choro Collective.
We’ll be offering authentic Brazilian bites and beverages in a cozy cafe ambiance that will make you feel right at home. Join us for a Brazil-Australia cultural exchange through the beautiful melodies of choro music!
Choro blends hypnotic syncopated rhythms, fast tempos, and virtuoso improvisational elements that capture a range of emotions from joy to melancholy, creating a dynamic and engaging listening experience!
Led by Ricardo Steyer on the 7-string guitar, accompanied by talented musicians on instruments like the bandolim, cavaquinho, clarinet, and pandeiro, our ensemble promises to deliver a performance filled with technical prowess and creative expression.
Casa is located in the heart of Maroubra with free and easy public parking on nearby street or council carparks.
